With this note commerceIT intends to inform the subjects who interact with the website reacheable at the address corresponding to the home page: https://www.fedon.com (hereinafter referred to as "Website") of the Policy adopted, starting from the 25th May 2018, on the processing of personal data, emphasizing its commitment and attention with regards to the protection of the privacy of visitors and users of the Website.

  3. This information is valid for the purposes of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (the "Privacy Regulation"), regarding the protection of individuals in relation to to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data

In case of need, the data related to the newsletter service can be processed by the person in charge of the data processing or by subjects appointed by him/her for this purpose at the relevant location.

2. Personal data collected

commerceIT treats, in accordance with this privacy information, data provided by Users, including:

a) data provided when creating an account on the Website (eg name, surname, date of birth, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method)

b) data provided at the time of the order confirmation, in the event that the transaction occurs without specification of an existing account, or without any account (eg name, surname, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method)

c) data related to purchases made through the Website and to any product returns, consistent with the company policy return (eg products purchased, amount of purchases, date and time of purchases, address of residence)

d) data provided in case of request for information and assistance

e) data provided and collected for the purposes and within the scope of any participation in marketing campaigns and other promotional or communication activities (eg newsletters)

The above data are processed only to the extent that they are necessary to achieve the purposes described in paragraph 4 of this information.
In order to provide the User with the most reliable service in terms of online payment, commerceIT has chosen payment systems (PayPal) recognized among the main players in the e-commerce and financial field.
With these services, the online payment process takes place on a page made secure by the payment service provider, on which the user will be automatically redirected.
Furthermore, the information sent to this server is encrypted before being transmitted.
In no case neither commerceIT, nor any other party, will have access to information on the credit card of the User. 
In particular, commerceIT does not have access to the page protected by the payment service provider, nor is the credit card information processed on the website www.fedon.com


3. Methods of data processing


The User's personal data are processed with the support of electronic and / or paper means and are protected by appropriate security measures to guarantee the confidentiality and security of personal data.
In particular, commerceIT adopts appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect personal data in its possession against loss, theft, as well as use, disclosure or unauthorized modification of personal data.
commerceIT proceeds to the anonymization of personal data and the removal of identification data, when there is no need to process personal data in an identifiable form for the purposes of treatment described here below and at the end of the retention period indicated in paragraph 8 below.


4. Purposes of the treatment


The purposes for which Users are required to provide commerceIT with their personal data are as follows:

• allow the User to register on the Website by creating a personal account and to carry out the activities regulated in the General Conditions of Sale of the Website, including purchases on the Website, providing the services made available through the Website, including customer support services before and after sale, and to assert and defend the rights related to the User and third parties.

• comply with any legal obligations and regulations (hereinafter referred to as "Law Purposes");

6. Scope of communication and disclosure of data


commerceIT, for the purposes referred to in paragraph 4, may communicate to the following categories of subjects the data of the Users strictly necessary for each type of treatment:

a) all parties to whom the right of access to such data is recognized by virtue of regulatory provisions;

b) collaborators, employees and suppliers of commerceIT, as part of their duties and / or any contractual obligations with them, relating to commercial relations with the users;

c) the company that produces the goods marketed through the Website, namely Giorgio Fedon & Figli Spa;

d) the company in charge of the preparation of shipments, namely Debbyline SRL

e) companies that provide for the shipment of products purchased by the User and / or other material related to the performance of commerceIT services

f) legal, administrative and fiscal consultants within the limits necessary or functional to the carrying out of commerceIT activity, in the manner and for the purposes described above;

The User's personal data will not be disclosed beyond the purposes for which they are collected nor to parties not mentioned in points a) to f) above.


7. Transfer abroad

Personal data may be freely transferred, for the purposes indicated in paragraph 6 above, within the countries located in the European Union.


8. Term of conservation of personal data collected

commerceIT will process personal data for the period necessary to satisfy the purposes for which they were collected, in accordance with paragraph 4 above. In any case, the following retention periods apply to the processing of personal data for the following purposes:


• data collected for the purposes referred to in paragraph 4, lett. a) are kept for a period equal to the entire duration of the User's registration to the Website, and in any case for a minimum period of two years. They are also kept for defense purposes and / or to exercise a right of commerceIT in court and / or out-of-court in case of disputes related to the execution of the services of the Website;

• data collected for the purposes of the law referred to in paragraph 4, lett. b) are kept for a period equal to the duration prescribed by law for each type of data;

• data collected for marketing objectives of commerceIT referred to in paragraph 4, lett. c) are kept:

  • In case of users who have registered on the Website, for a period equal to the entire duration of the User's registration, as well as for 2 years following the deactivation of the abovementioned registration
  • In case of users who have used the services of the Website without registering, for a period of two years after the last operation carried out

In commerceIT we care about the minimization of personal information collected and, for this reason, we have decided to cancel the accounts of Users who have not interacted with the Website for more than 3 years. Once deleted, data contained therein will be stored according to the points in the preceding paragraph. Once the terms indicated above have elapsed, the User's data may be deleted, anonymized and / or aggregated.


9. Rights of Users

The User can, at any time and with no charges:

• obtain confirmation of the existence or not of data concerning him and have relative communication;

In addition to the rights listed above, the User, with effect from the 25th May 2018, will be able to

• request the limitation of the processing of personal data in the event that

  • he may contest the accuracy of personal data, for the period necessary to verify the accuracy of such personal data;

  • the processing is illegal and the User opposes the cancellation of personal data and asks instead to limit the use of data;

  • although commerceIT no longer needs data for processing purposes, personal data are necessary for the User to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court;

  • the User has opposed the treatment pursuant to art. 21, paragraph 1, of the Regulation, while waiting for verification of the possible prevalence of legitimate reasons of the data controller, over those of the interested party;

• oppose at any time the processing of personal data;

• request cancellation of personal data concerning him without undue delay;

• obtain the portability of personal data concerning him;

• propose a complaint to the Data Protection Authority where the conditions exist.

The User can exercise the above rights at any time in order to change the contact details, notify commerceIT of any updates to his / her data, request the removal of his / her personal data communicated by third parties, or obtain further information about the use of his / her personal data by commerceIT, by contacting the Customer Service through the “Write us” section of the Website or by writing to the e-mail address privacy@commerceit.eu.


10. Cookies and profiling tools
